A little about the girl behind the camera…

My name is Kristen! I go by Kristen, Kris, Hey You Photographer, Bechard, Mommy, the boss, and favorite child (haha).  I grew up in small town Kansas and I bleed purple.  I almost went to Pitt State, but my heart belonged to K-State.  On August 20, 2006, I became a Mommy for the first time to my handsome little man named Caeden.  4 years later on August 9, 2010 (yup – 8.9.10!) God blessed me with another handsome little boy named Duncan.  They are my world and my forever models!

I started my photography journey at the age of 7 when I picked photography as my “thing” for 4-H.  After taking a hiatus to grow up (haha), I found my photography bug again when Caeden was born.  After capturing my cousin’s senior photos, I knew this was my passion (besides my boys). My passion was pushed even further when I received my Nikon D40 and my world changed forever.  I love it!

My journey as your photographer…

My goal with my photography is to capture that moment where you think nobody is watching. That special kiss, hug, smile, giggle. I want to capture it. I want that special moment documented for years to come. I want that moment to be real and raw.  I want you to capture your life.  Make it feel real and vivid.

My photography is life style based starting from the moment he pops the question until the time your grandchildren are graduating.  I *shoot* engagement, weddings, maternity, babies, children, teens, seniors, boudoir, and still life.  I capture life as it happens and as you grow.  This is my passion.  This is my life.  Let me be apart of your life as well.
