My baby. He’s three. Three years old. At 10:45 pm on August 9th, 2010 (yes 8.9.10), he came into my world and completed the love in my heart that started with his brother.
In the three short years of his amazing little life, so much has happened but he’s always has a smile on his beautiful little face….
And will always have his best friend by his side…
I love you sweet little boy! Thank you for bringing extra laughter and joy into our lives. You are truly an amazing little guy and I am beyond blessed to be your mommy. And little dude – you are my favorite best youngest son in the whole world.
On the 11th of July, I turned 30. Looking back, I never thought my life would be where it is today. I have grown so much since I turned 20. In the past decade, I graduated from K-State, was married to my college sweetheart, had 2 gorgeous boys, divorced, and made a major career change. I wouldn’t change anything. These life experiences have taught me so much and I hope that I continue to learn from them. My life has its ups and its downs but I’m so incredibly lucky!
My life the past 10 years.
To the next 10 years – I wish for hope, happiness and content. The past 10 years were for sure a challenge, but I wouldn’t change them for the world. I have grown so much. I thank God everyday… And I keep on smiling.
So being that next month we’ll be halfway finished with 2013, I wanted to just give a friendly reminder about my wedding availability for 2014!
As most of you know – I am a single mom to two amazing little boys, but with that comes major responsibility towards them and let’s face it – shooting a wedding is a full-time job! With that said – I absolutely LOVE shooting weddings. I really do – but with my limited weekend availability – I will be limiting my weddings big time. So send me an e-mail and if the date works with my schedule – we will book! If it doesn’t work – I have a list of amazing photographers all over the state of Kansas (and the U.S. actually!) that I can send your way!
Thank you! And look for this adorable couple on the blog! Yes – that would be my brother and his new fiancee!! This was taken with my iPhone – but you see the excitement! I cannot wait to someday be their wedding photographer!
January 10th. That’s pretty good for me to reflect on 2012. HA!
This has been a crazy year for me. Both professionally and personally. I am so happy to have gotten to know so many new people through my photography business and to work with such amazing clients. I thank you all for a great year!! If you check out my Availability page – you’ll see that I’m limiting my weddings this year and by 2014 I will be phasing out wedding photography. I absolutely love being a wedding photographer, but with two small children that are involved in EVERYTHING, I need to phase out that part of my business. :) No worries! I’ll still be taking engagement photos, I just won’t have a wedding package option by 2014.
So onto what’s really important. My favorite images from 2012. I hope you enjoy!!
Thank you for a great 2012!! Cannot wait to see what 2013 brings!!!
