Kollin *Newborn*

Sigh.  Kollin.  Kollin is my cousin (and one of my best friends!)’s little dude.  He was born on New Years Day.  He is seriously the sweetest thing since my kids (haha).  I went to visit the little guy the next day and absolutely fell in love with him.  As did my boys.  They talk non-stop about Kollin. :) It’s pretty cute.

So I was absolutely excited to capture this little guy’s newborn photos.  Nothing like arriving  to take the photos and asked to snuggle him while Momma takes a little break and Daddy runs to the store.  Don’t have to twist my arm!!!

So… I held him..
And literally just stared at him and watched him sleep.  Kinda like I did with my own two boys.  Swoon. And then I took his newborn photos when Mommy and Daddy came back…

Oh sweet Kollin – you are the family’s pride and joy!! I cannot wait to watch you grow into one of my kid’s buddies!  You are the sweetest thing ever and Kristen, Caeden & Duncan all love you!!!

Looking Back on 2012

January 10th.  That’s pretty good for me to reflect on 2012. HA!

This has been a crazy year for me.  Both professionally and personally.  I am so happy to have gotten to know so many new people through my photography business and to work with such amazing clients.  I thank you all for a great year!!  If you check out my Availability page – you’ll see that I’m limiting my weddings this year and by 2014 I will be phasing out wedding photography.  I absolutely love being a wedding photographer, but with two small children that are involved in EVERYTHING, I need to phase out that part of my business.  :)  No worries! I’ll still be taking engagement photos, I just won’t have a wedding package option by 2014. :)

I have capture some pretty cute kiddos this past spring/summer and failed miserably at blogging about them! So here are a few glances at what I did this summer with the kiddos!! They really make my job super fun!!!

Hello out there!

Has it really been since April since I last blogged?  Holy cow.  Sorry!! Needless to say – busy is an understatement.  :) From soccer, to baseball, to prom, etc. I haven’t had time to breathe. :) Such is life right?

What have I done?

1. Finished my 52 week project.  Best accomplishment I’ve done this year.  I had such a blast!

2. I’m ready to enroll Caeden into 1st grade.  When the heck did that happen?  I have a 1st grader?!

3. I’m ready to celebrate Duncan’s 2nd birthday.  A 2 year old?!  And yes – he’s very much in his terrible twos!

4. Baseball is complete.  Caeden played so well.  Love that kiddo!

5. I took a road trip to visit friends.  Made a new friend with an American Girl doll named McKenna… She’s super sweet. HEHE

6.  Oh yeah.  I chopped my hair off. :)

7. My house is almost complete…

8.  Need to buy a house?  My home I share with my ex-husband is for sale in Tonganoxie! Check out this link here!

9. I had my first wedding of the season!  More on that later on!!

10. And did I mention I’m happy as ever?
